The tray contains 25 organic edible cornflowers in mixed colors grown by the Carmazzi farm in Torre del Lago Puccini. A fibrous flower with very bright colors ranging from pale pink to a magnificent electric blue, it is mostly used for decorative purposes. Highly appreciated by chefs and bartenders for its exceptional aroma and amazing organoleptic properties, Carmazzi's flowers are Global GAP certified and are grown completely naturally under the protection of high-tech greenhouses: they are therefore removed from any external influence that could alter their nutraceutical characteristics. Traceable from seed to harvest, they have been the subject of study by the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Pisa, which has produced an international publication on their antioxidant properties and health benefits. Harvesting and packaging are done manually, flower by flower, and shipping is done the same day of harvesting so as to preserve maximum freshness. The flowers should be consumed after gentle washing and should be stored in the refrigerator, where they will keep for up to 10 days.

How are edible flowers shipped? Edible flowers are packaged and shipped the same day of harvest with expected delivery in 24-48 hours. Product preservation is ensured by using isothermal packaging (isothermal bags, styrofoam boxes) and gel ice. Orders received or paid for after 12:00 noon on Wednesday are packed and shipped on Monday of the following week (this way we avoid product storage in courier depots over the weekend).
