Seminar at the Palagio in Pescia with experts to discover the potential of agri-food products in our area What food for our future, what Tuscany's contribution in agricultural research and production. These are the topics that will be discussed on Saturday, Jan. 24, at 4:30 p.m. in the main hall of the Palagio building of the Pescia City Hall. Tuscany is considered internationally a model of good living, so it is important that it knows how to address , discuss and inform where the studies and experiences on this issue are heading , always guaranteeing a healthy lifestyle that respects the planet, also in view of the upcoming Expo 2015, which has as its theme "Feeding the Planet." The territory of the Municipality of Pescia hosts important realities that can help answer the questions that consumers are beginning to ask regarding what will be the new foods resulting from experiments by agricultural biotechnology, what will be the future development of the economy in terms of employment and land use, how to combine land use, sustainable production and ensure food for the future. The talk show hosted by Fabrizio Diolaiuti, a journalist and writer specializing in agribusiness, will be attended by Oreste Giurlani, mayor of Pescia; Giuliano Incerpi, spokesperson for Co.ri.pro -Olivi di Pescia; Marco Carmazzi, producer of flowers; Franco Baldaccini, administrator of the Pescia Flower Market; Stefano Benvenuti professor of agricultural sciences at the University of Pisa; Francesca Giurlani school director of the Agricultural Technical Institute "Dionisio Anzilotti"; Maurizio Antonetti researcher cra- viv pescia. The talk show is organized by the Felix Cultural Association with the participation of the Regional Council of Tuscany as part of the 2014 Festa della Toscana, whose theme is "Tuscany, looking beyond. Our borders, our habits, our beliefs. For a Tuscany land of the world." The "Valley of Flowers " Chorale from Pescia will be speaking.
