Peperoncino Day® is confirmed as must-attend event of Tuscan summer

The event dedicated to the Cultivation and Culture of Chili Peppers greets the fifth edition with great satisfaction and boom in attendance Yesterday (Sunday, August 21) at the splendid Villa Borbone in Viareggio (Lu) the 5th edition of Peperoncino Day®, the event dedicated to chili peppers in all their forms organized by the Carmazzi Company, ended. Confirmed the boom in attendance of the past editions, testifying to the fact that the event has fully entered among the must-attend events of the Tuscan summer. Satisfaction among the large number of visitors who took part in the event, enthusiastic about the rich program offered by the "spicy" kermesse: from in-depth conferences on the "hot pepper" theme with guests of excellence to seminars to discover all the secrets of the spicy fruit held by Massimo Biagi, major expert at the national level of hot peppers, passing through the preview presentation of Pimento del Sahara®, a very rare variety launched for the first time on the market at the event, exhibition of the largest collection of hot peppers in Europe (M. Biagi Collection), free tastings of chili products, for children agriludoteca, educational farm and presentation of fairy tales, as well as body painting, showcooking, gospel and Latin American dance performances, meditation and theatricalized tours of the Villa built in 1821 for Duchess Maria Luisa of Bourbon. There was also great interest in Mr. Pic® products, the first Italian food chain dedicated to chili lovers, which was a huge hit.
