On October 2, Azienda Agricola Carmazzi will be present at the conference to be held in Bologna by ASSOFLORO. The event is aimed at representatives of companies in the green supply chain: floriculture, nursery, arboriculture, gardening, garden center. A sector in which more than 200,000 companies are engaged, including allied industries, worth about 2.5 billion euros in turnover. "Strategies after COVID: Green supply chains: skills and excitement looking at Italy. Assofloro Conference on October 2 in Bologna." As indicated in the program downloadable at the link given below, the initiative will be an opportunity to reflect on strategies "to restart" after the COVID emergency. A necessary restart, because at stake is "not only" the employment of hundreds of thousands of workers: the sector, in fact, is becoming increasingly strategic towards contemporary challenges, such as climate change, food security, or natural disasters, providing services also to human well-being. Consider, for example, urban forests, which are increasingly being promoted and implemented near large metropolitan cities for their contribution in providing ecosystem services essential to people's lives. ASSOFLORO, the most important association representing companies in the green supply chain has long been working, at various levels, to publicize the benefits of quality green, for health, for the environment, and for the economy, emphasizing and promoting the importance of the entire supply chain and the need for structural measures to promote and support it. Important personalities from institutions and the economic and research world will be present at the speakers' table. In the afternoon session there will be a moment of education and stimulation for companies, with the involvement of a representative from each category, to share fears, thoughts, emotions and stimuli for a restart. The meeting will close with a session dedicated to the floriculture sector, to discuss and share ways to relaunch the sector and work in progress after the meeting in Rome on July 22. The event is in partnership with CNR, Symbola, Coldiretti and Myplant&Garden.
