On Sunday, May 27, Azienda Carmazzi will be featured at FICO Eataly World, the world's largest food park, with a double event with free admission organized in collaboration with La Serra di Flora Toscana to be held at the FICO arena in Bologna. In the morning, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., they will discuss BIO® Edible Flowers and their extraordinary nutraceutical properties. Giacomo Carmazzi will speak, who will explain the characteristics of this very special cultivation, provide insights into its history and the edible varieties selected by the company, and talk about the importance of choosing a product with certified traceability. Guest speaker for the event will be agronomist and foodblogger Irene Bombarda of Uno Spicchio di Melone, who is widely followed on the web and an expert in Food Photography. In the afternoon, however, from 2 to 5:30 p.m., Mr. PIC® chili will dominate the scene. Marco Carmazzi, who has been a member of the National Chili Pepper Academy for decades and has more than 30 years of experience as a direct grower, will tell the history, anecdotes and secrets of the world's oldest spice and illustrate the experience of his company, which has developed over decades of hard work an impressive collection of more than 1,500 different seed varieties. The meeting will also discuss the many beneficial properties of chili and the Mr PIC product line, an example of how different varieties of this fruit can be used, based on aroma, flavor and spiciness, to create as many food references. Enhancing the events are two thematic showcooking sessions by Michelin-starred chef Luca Landi, recently returned from his experience at Manresa Restaurant in Los Gatos, California, which boasts 3 Michelin stars and has been on the prestigious World's 50 Berst Restaurants' List for years. The evening will conclude with a chili-eating contest in which 10 daredevil tasters, selected from among the many entrants, will be invited to push their limits and win the many prizes raffled off by the organizers.
