On Saturday, August 22 and Sunday, August 23, the event dedicated to the Culture and Cultivation of Chili is back with many events for everyone After the extraordinary success of the last edition, which recorded almost 9,000 admissions, Peperoncino Day, the event dedicated to the Culture and Cultivation of the spicy fruit par excellence born from an idea of Adolfo Giannecchini and organized by the Azienda Carmazzi of Torre del Lago Puccini, is back for the fourth consecutive year at Villa Borbone in Viareggio (Lucca). Reconfirmed the two days of events with the unfailing transformation of the Giardino Sonoro into an open-air "museum" where to admire hundreds of varieties of chili peppers from all over the world, moments of cultural insights moderated by Fabrizio Diolaiuti such as thematic conferences held by distinguished guests and seminars by the expert Massimo Biagi, the presentation of new and unpublished varieties of chili peppers, but also many culinary and entertainment events open to all. On the calendar are moments of high gastronomy with free tasting of Mr Pic products, the first Italian chain made with certified chili peppers produced by Azienda Carmazzi in collaboration with the best local made-in-Italy realities, the presentation of spicy barbecue for a "Low and slow," healthy convivial and tasty cuisine, and the tasting of the Spicy Hot Dog, made with Italian traced meats and seasoned with the novelty of summer 2015, the Mr Pic Barbecue Sauce! For the first time, a Refreshment Area will be set up in the Villa Park where it will be possible to taste a rich menu suitable for all palates, both for lovers of spicy and supporters of more delicate flavors. Not only culture and cuisine, but also a lot of entertainment with the performance by Fusion Dance & Yoga Studio, the Chili Eating Contest for daredevil competitors, the performance of the emerging Rock Band Greenhouse, formed by young local talents, the Floral Art performances by Dimitri Ferri of "Il Camuciolo." the opportunity to visit the Villa built in 1821 for Maria Luisa of Bourbon, the exhibition of the Giardinorto® furniture line with green design solutions made from recycled materials, and, for the little ones, the AgriLudoteca with many fun kid-friendly educational activities organized by Elena Giannini's Manipura Garden.
