Viola, also known as Viola Wittrockiana, is a biennial biennial herbaceous plant belonging to the large family Violaceae, which includes approximately 450 species widespread in Europe, the Americas and tropical areas. It appears as a very decorative and hardy small shrub between 15 and 20 cm in height and of equal width. The light green leaves are oval in shape with a pointed apex and crenate margin; the flowers, which are very numerous, vary in width from 4 to 5 cm and have a very vivid coloration that makes this plant particularly suitable for decorating planters and balconies.

Viola blooms continuously at different times of the year (in spring, fall and winter). The plant is extremely hardy and is covered with brightly colored flowers, as is normally the case with wild species. |
